Environmental Engineer

Environmental Engineer to develop and implement technical solutions for the prevention, control and remediation of environmental problems, including systems process or equipment for control, management or remediation of water, air, and/or soil quality; Automate and maintain the continuous pollution prevention and monitoring systems; Collect, evaluate and maintain field data using database software such as MS Access, MS Excel, CADD and Surfer; Prepare, review and update environmental investigation and recommendation reports; Maintain ISO 14001 certification by implementing improvements in facility management systems, internal environmental audits, corrective action plans and continual improvement activities; Inspect industrial and municipal facilities and programs to evaluate operational effectiveness and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.

Qualification Requirements: Master’s or equivalent degree in Environmental Science/Engineering or related field and one (1) year of experience in the job offered. Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training or experience.

Process and Research Engineer

Coordinate and oversee operational research on plate rolling and pipe manufacturing practices & parameters, and industry standards & trends in mill performance; Develop methods to maintain quality & consistency in manufacturing operations, and increase productivity & production goals; Plan, coordinate and oversee the design and implementation of manufacturing process improvements; Review defect analysis reports to diagnose malfunctions in machinery & equipment; Develop market intelligence research for formulating sales strategies; and Provide technical expertise, guidance and training to address customer enquiries and claims.

Qualification Requirements: Master's degree or equivalent in industrial or manufacturing engineering or related discipline and one (1) year experience in the job offered or configuration, quality & reliability standards determination for carbon steel plates and pipes. Experience must include interpreting engineering/schematic drawings/ diagrams/formulas & determining configuration, quality & reliability standards for carbon steel plates, DSAW pipes and other steel products.
